Light the Way

Psalm 18:28 and 2 Samuel 22:29“For You are my lamp, O Lord; And the Lord illumines my darkness.”
Psalm 119:105“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

During my quiet time with the Lord a few days ago, I closed my eyes and focused on His heartbeat. I had a vision where I saw myself standing at a lit lamp post, but the surrounding area was foggy and dark. It reminded me of a scene from “The Chronicles of Narnia”. I couldn’t see anything in detail except the lit lamp post.

And then I heard the Lord’s voice say, “Light the Way. Light the path to Me and Me alone for there is no other way. Fear not the rejection of man for I conquered rejection at the Cross. Fear not the approval of man for in Me, you are accepted. There can be no compromise for I am the only way. You must live a life of righteousness for the world is watching and you represent Me.

“I’m calling My Remnant to walk in righteousness, above reproach. It is not your perfectionism but your surrender to Me and My ways. For I am perfect and know the way you should go. So lean on Me and My understanding and I will make your path straight.

“I’m calling My Remnant to shine brightly and lead the way. Lead the way through your words, thoughts, and actions, both at home and in public.

“I’m calling My Remnant to rise above the chatter, the nay-sayers, the murmur. And set your feet firmly on My Word, both logos and rhema. For I cannot lie and My words cannot return to Me void.

“Rise above the noise and keep your ear pressed to My heartbeat. For I will lead you in the truth. So follow My voice only.

“When in doubt, lift your head and lift your voice in praise. Your praise is sweet music to My ears. And I will hear and answer your prayers, even before you are finished speaking.

“I’ve got you. I know your thoughts and I know your concerns. I hold you by My righteous right hand and hold your tears in My palm.
I will never let you go and will never forsake you. I will not abandon you.

“I am but a whisper away. This is why I call you to rise above the noise and focus on My voice.

“Remember, I love you, I’ve got you, and I will lead the way.”
